Legs upp the wall/ “Viparita Karani”
One of the oldest yoga positions. Relaxes the body and balances blood circulation. (good if you have problems in joints, or knee pain. A good position to connect with earth and land when you feel a little out of track. Perfect to do anytime, but specially after coming from work or before going to bed. When you turn your body upside down it helps the blood flow to you head and face.Relax and breathe naturally in the position for at least 5 minutes.
TIPS: A block under your sacrum to support you in the position, helps lifting upp the legs more correctly.
(AVOID this posture if you have heavy headache or are if you are menstruating heavily)
